So here it is my very first Word press blog on the final eve of 2011. I’m not even sure that apart from the random assignment of this date as significant it actually has any value, except that which we assign to it. But in humble recognition of the cultural norm, I will be celebrating the joys and sorrows of 2011 and welcoming in 2012 with a warm embrace.
This New year will be spent like most years, cosily at home. Hopefully I’ll not be too wrapped up in writing to notice the ticking of the clock that will mark the begining of the year but I find myself, despite the economic traumas and turbulent events of the past year looking forward hopefully and positively to the year to come. I’ve made big plans for 2012, after a slow and then wildly successfull year in my personal life. I can only hope that in a year’s time, I will look back as I can this year and feel this same sense of achievement and satisfaction. I’ve grown this year (and no not just in my clothes size, but yes in my clothes size too), more than I have in the previous five years. It’s not been an entirely successfull or tear free year, but the ecstasy of joy is found only from rising from the pool of exquisite despair.
So this coming year I hope to FOCUS. Focus on writing more often and more prolifically, focus on improving my grammar, focus on learning to touch type and focus on becoming contented and even happier in my own skin.
So Cheers everyone and here’s to a prosperous, writing filled year. May you be healthy, happy and content wherever you may be.
HAPPY 2012 EVERYONE
